Suamico- Northern Saw-whet Owl Banding Demo

Ever wonder how ornithologists capture and band birds? Listen to raptor expert, John Jacobs, who will give a short presentation on the banding operations of Northern Saw-whet Owls and will then band a wild-caught owl in person for everyone to see!
This presentation is part of the 2018-19 Lecture Series. Hosted by the Northeastern Wisconsin Audubon Society.
Free and open to the public! Come early because seats will fill up fast! No rsvp needed.
DIRECTIONS: Take Hwy. 41-141 North of Green Bay 4.5 miles to Lineville Road exit. Turn right (east) on Lineville Road to the intersection with Lakeview Drive. Turn north onto Lakeview Drive. The park entrance is about half mile ahead on the right. Please park by the Nature Center.
