This trip will include a combination of car caravan and some light walking. Highlights include an assortment of waterfowl, Greater Prairie-Chickens, Lapland Longspurs, as well as some early spring migrants such as Winter Wren, sparrows (Fox, Vesper, Swamp), Yellow-rumped Warblers, and other songbirds. Trip registration opens on March 22, 2023.
Initially this event will be open only to WSO members and our field trips are free for members. Non-members are able to sign up within 14 days of the trip for a nominal fee of $10 per adult if spots remain open on trips with attendance limits. Further details about trip logistics will be sent to registrants prior to each field trip.
