The group usuallyhikes 2-3 miles on Old Marsh Road, with other spots visited via car caravan. We expect to find a nicevariety of marsh birds (terns, rails and herons), shorebirds and waterfowl, as well as an assortment ofresident passerines (including Yellow-headed Blackbird) and possibly early-fall migrants.
Trip registration opens on July 14th
Initially this event will be open only to WSO members and our field trips are free. Non-members are able to sign up within 14 days of the trip if spots remain open on trips with attendance limits. Further details about trip logistics will be sent to registrants prior to each field trip.
