Join Atlas coordinators on a weekend Door County blitz! Door County was the leader in species for the first Atlas but needs a lot of work in the final two years of this project. This is a perfect opportunity to spend a day or the weekend in Door County and help collect valuable data for the Atlas!

Lodging will not be provided by the atlas, but birders are urged to stay anywhere between Sturgeon Bay and Gill's Rock. Reasonable rates can be found at the Best Western Maritime in Sturgeon Bay, Lull-Abi in Egg Harbor, Ridges Inn and Suites and Journey's End in Bailey's Harbor, and Rowley's Bay Resort in Ellison Bay.

We will meet on Friday evening (the 8th) at 6 p.m. at the Northhaven Condos in Fish Creek and have the area's best pizza (free courtesy of the Atlas) while we strategize atlasing for the weekend. More details including exact address will be given to those who RSVP.

If you'd like to help but cannot make it to the dinner/meeting on Friday evening, that's OK! We can make an alternate plan for you when you RSVP.
