Join atlas leader Bill Mueller on a nocturnal atlasing outing. The group will caravan by car along roads in several nearby blocks having little or no previous nocturnal data, and stop where safe parking places are located. There is a mosaic of habitats in those blocks, with wetlands to listen for American Woodcock, and mixed conifer/deciduous woodlands to seek out Eastern Screech, Great Horned, Barred and Long-eared Owls.
When: 7:15 p.m. April 24 (rescheduled from April 11)
Where: Meet at the parking lot of Black River Crossing/Taco John's/Subway, at the southeast corner of the Hwy I-94/Hwy 54 junction, in Black River Falls
