By documenting the distribution and abundance of birds breeding in specific areas all across our state, the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II will provide critical data for conservation of birds for years to come. It will be the largest coordinated field effort in the history of Wisconsin ornithology, requiring the mobilization of thousands of volunteers. That is why the following agencies, organizations and businesses -- all of whom desire to promote the welfare of Wisconsin's wild birds -- are committing to actively work in support of the Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas II.
